Post Installation Model

Alphabet Installation ModelSince the full scale installation (previously posted) did not last very long due to its nature, I decided to make this small model representing the same qualities, such as escaping a conventional grid (random sizes of the blocks stacked together), chance factor of variety of paintings in its defragmented state and a sculptural way of representation of the alphabet.

Alphabet – Q&A Session on Reddit

Blog Q&ASo I have posted my font download page on some forums and have received some questions, helpful statements and even signs of frustration. Thought would be a good idea to re-post those here. I guess this Q&A session just better explains the whole idea behind the alphabet.

Santa Maria Nova Monastery Extension

Santa Maria Nova Monastery Extension Chapel

My 1st year portfolio – MArch Architecture at Westminster University Design Studio 15.

The Olivetan Monks have inhabited the site of Temple of Venus and Roma since the XIV century, but are gradually losing their territory due to tourism and the historical significance of current monastery site. The New Extension aims to sustain the religious prominence of the site, combining the ritual routes of prayer, distillery and tourism, and assiduously embodying qualities of seclusive lifestyle and touristic disturbance.

Giraffe Theatre

Giraffe Theatre at UEL

As time goes we look back at work we have done in the past and often start to love something that we used to dislike and vice versa.

Here’s a Giraffe Theatre at UEL Beckton Campus from my first year studying architecture (08-09) at University of East London. I like it more and more every time I look at it!

Shadow Puppets – Analog Animation Projector

CNV00019Matt has texted me on facebook today asking how its going with the final digirep assignment (we gotta do 2.5D animation, but to asnwer his question – it’s not going well, as I haven’t started yet!) and reminded me of the project we did in October this year. So myself, Matthew Witts and Alex Sun – all BDP guys at Westminster Uni right now (what a coincidence) decided to team up to create an analog device. The first task for our digirep lecture was to create an animation and a physical device to show it which would combine digital and analog processes. The technique and method was also supposed to be related to the narrative of the animation. And on top of that we were not allowed to create any conventional zoetropes or phenakistoscopes!.. Rome

And here I’m back from Rome, with a terrible cold. Unfortunately, the weather there in November is worse than one in London! Got soaked twice. And they also drink tea (do they?) from cups of an espresso size.. Two sips and youre done.

However, we went to Rome with DS15 in order to pick a site for our project. See full post
